Certification Descriptions

These products are U.L. listed by Underwriters Laboratories, ensuring that the products have passed Underwriters Laboratories rigorous testing procedures to specific safety standards for electrical products and have assigned the appropriate listing number required for safety standards and electrical codes.

The CSA mark from the Canadian Safety Association is recognized and accepted throughout Canada and the US at federal, state, provincial, and municipal levels. It means that the product is certified to the applicable Canadian and US safety standards, respectively in Canadian and US markets.

A product bearing the c ETL us Listed mark signifies that it was tested and meets the minimum requirements of prescribed product safety standards for US and Canada. Moreover, the mark indicates that the manufacturer’s production site conforms to a range of compliance measures and is subject to periodic follow-up inspections to verify continued conformance.

The chip must be a minimum 3 x 5 in. and be of the same material as the enclosure of the ordered heater (ie. steel or aluminum).
