Line chokes The use of line chokes is recommended in particular when installing several soft starters on the same line supply to limit low frequency interference that may affect low level loads. The inductance values are defined for a voltage drop between 3% and 5% of the nominal line voltage. Install the line choke between the line contactor and the soft starter.
