ADDITIONAL CONTROLS For Convector Heaters

CONVECTORS MARLEY CUSTOM CAPABILITIES

Two types of control sections are available: • Control sections are 28" long and available in 7" high and 14" high steel models, as well DBA and SHA aluminum models

• An SCR control section which may include one or combinations of Master and Slave SCR's with an SCR type thermostat, or a Control Transformer

To develop a complete catalog number, first start with the catalog number of the selected Blank Control Section. Then add slash marks to separate the catalog numbers that describe the individual controls desired. Also specify finish, heater voltage, phase 1 or 3, and control voltage. All control sections are fully custom, factory made-to-order per application and therefore, all mounting locations, incoming power locations etc, must be verified by MEP engineering. Example : CSH07BCS1/TR24/2CB3P30. This example catalog number would be for a 7-inch Commercial Style Grille Steel Convector control section with a 24v transformer relay, two 3-pole 30 amp Circuit Breakers.

NOTE: Each SCR incorporates its own zero-firing logic, providing any combination or connection arrangement for single or three phase applications. 25A single phase SCR can be mounted in the SHA aluminum convector. Each Master and Thermostat will require 24V AC Transformer. Specify holding coil voltage where applicable. On all 5 in. high steel convectors the two-pole thermostat must go in the right hand junction box (TR must mount in RH junction box. 2T+TR are invalid in 5 in. high steel convectors). (1) Blank control sections are subject to the same color selections and pricing as the appropriate matching heater. (2) Not available in DBA control sections. (4) Maximum of 8 SCRs is the limit for one thermostat output signal.
